This output will gather and analyse the specific needs and requirements of the students, teachers, facilitators operating in this context for this tool and move to defining its required and prioritised technical and user features. The process will involve co-creation activities with representatives of these user groups and utilise Design Thinking methodology and tools to ensure that design will both meet user needs and facilitate highest usage and best user experience.

It will also determine the specific subset of 21st C Skills to be assessed in this prototype, script the skill specific tool content and develop the relevant pedagogical framework for a scaffolded student experience.

The tool itself will be innovative in being designed specifically for the context of makerspaces and in its use of self reflective practice as part of self assessment.
