On the 16th of March our partner, Karlstads University, organised the multiplier event with the brief “Digital tools in teaching technology in school – with inspiration from the maker movement”. The event took place in a hybrid mode to allow both physical and online participation attracting the interest of 60 individuals.
The participants had the chance to attend presentations, join several hands-on workshops and reflect upon the ASSESSMAKE21 tool! The presentations revolved around the concept of maker movement, makerspaces in the educational settings and related research studies. The hands-on workshops allow the physical participants to explore 3D modelling and 3D printing practices using different digital fabrication tools. The assessment of maker activities was also brought up providing a good opportunity for discussion upon the Assessmake21 initiative, results and challenges.
